Municipal Construction Spotlight:

Epping Water Treatment Plant

General Contractor: PRB Construction Inc.

The Town of Epping approved construction on a new water treatment plant in 2020 in a vote that included extending town water to homes affected by Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MtBE), a gasoline additive that was used in New Hampshire gasoline from the late 1970s until it was banned in New Hampshire in 2007.

The Epping Water Treatment Plant is particularly exciting to the Legacy Team, bringing the opportunity to participate in the provision of clean, safe water to an entire municipality. Residential and commercial growth are slowed in the area due to lack of sufficient water, so the Legacy Team is proud to participate in increasing the town’s water capacity in order to facilitate intended growth.
